A message from the Downtown Denver Partnership released on May 8th, 2020
Tonight at midnight, Denver’s stay-at-home order will lift, and together as a city, we will take our first steps toward reopening. As we enter this next phase, we are pleased to share a special message from Denver to our community. This is a message of gratitude, a nod to resilience, and a glimmer of inspiration as we look forward.
This pandemic has impacted us as individuals, businesses, and as a community. And yet, we have been blown away by the resilience of our city and the innovation, sacrifice, and courage we have seen at every turn. As you have been doing your part, we have been doing ours. We’ve been keeping downtown clean and safe, helping businesses access funding and information, and connecting those in need to resources.
Today, as we look toward the careful reopening of our city, we urge you to continue to do your part. Listen to the guidance of health officials and city leaders and be mindful of the health and safety of your friends, family, and community. When the time is right, come back downtown and support the diverse businesses that help make Denver special. Denver gets its strength from you.
